What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, chosen username, and optional location (country or region). During calibration sessions, we collect the calibration data you submit — including the items calibrated, your reported level of consciousness readings, and timestamps.
We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, session duration) to understand how the platform is used. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.
How we use it
Your data is used to operate the platform, personalise your experience, and contribute to the collective calibration research archive. Email is used only for account-related communications — verification, password reset, and occasional research updates you opt into.
We never sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.
Calibration data
Calibration data is inherently participatory and experimental. Your individual submissions contribute to aggregate research. When reviewing membership applications, calibrators assess the applicant's level of consciousness (LoC) blind — without knowing who the applicant is. You consent to this process as part of the application. Aggregate calibration data may be published as anonymised research findings.
Data retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, username, profile) is removed within 30 days. Anonymised calibration contributions may be retained in the aggregate research archive.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Account deletion is available from your account settings. To request a data export or raise a privacy concern, contact us at the email below.
If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
